This aromatic barley tea is made using the traditional 'sand-oven roasting' method.
Made from 100% domestic(Japan), additive-free Rokujo barley. It is made by the Kawahara Seifun-jo, established in 1940, using Tokyo Handa-en's original slightly deep-roasted method. It can be brewed with water to produce a strong water colour, and the rich aroma and gentle taste unique to the sand-oven roasting method can be enjoyed.
As it is caffeine-free, it is safe for everyone from children to nursing mothers and the elderly.
